Bryophyte herbarium of Shanghai Normal University is one of the  major  bryophyte herbaria in China. 

The herbarium was  established in 2000, with five researchers in bryophyte taxonomy, systematics and horticultural utilization. 

It housed about 25  thousands bryophyte specimens, mainly collected from the Yangtze RiverDelta and its neighboring regions.
