Abstract:
I will discuss the evolution the size and the stellar-to-dark mass mix in the centres of massive galaxies in the last 6 Gyrs of the universe life. I will discuss how the size and the dark matter fraction growth of galaxies observed in the Kilo Degree Survey (KiDS) both suggest that minor mergers should have played a major role in their evolution.     We are currenlty collecting further evidences using strong gravitational lensing to have independent constraints of the dark matter content and developing tools based on Machine learning to implement these analyses in next generation ground based surveys, like LSST.
