Study on the American Leadership Development Programs

Abstract:American leadership development programs emphasize instructional
leadership, internship experience, interinstitutional partnerships and the role
of school districts, and they have many supportive polities. It is a historic period
for China to become a nation of strong human resources rather than tremendous population.
Principals are not only a kind of important human resource, but also a guarantee to
develop and provide human resources of high quality. China advocates educationalist to
run schools, so it is of great value to study the model of American leadership
development programs and its supportive policies.
