总结：第一部分讲述了美国教育领导培训的两种基本类型：职前培养与在职培训。教育领导培训(包括职前培养与职后培训)是美国为中小学提供高素质后备校长和促进在职校长专业发展的重要环节。

第二部分讲述了美国教育领导培训模式的特征，主要体现在以下方面：

1、实现学区和大学的密切合作。

2、强调提升校长的教学领导能力。

3、重视教育领导的学校实践过程。

4、获得联邦与各州的财政支持。

5、提供持续性的专业发展支持。

6、发挥学区教育实践的引导作用。

7、形成完善统一的政策保障体系。这都为我国研制校长专业标准、实施校长资格认证制度以及开展校长专业培训工作提供了很好的借鉴。

Study on the American Leadership Development Programs

    Abstract：American leadership development programs emphasize instructional leadership, internship experience, inter-institutional partnerships and the role of school districts, and they have many supportive polities. It is a historic period for China to become a nation of strong human resources rather than tremendous population. Principals are not only a kind of important human resource , but also a guarantee to develop and provide human resources of high quality. China advocates educationalist to run schools, so it is of great value to study the model of American leadership development programs and its supportive policies.
