摘  要：2010年颁布实施的《国家中长期教育改革与发展规划纲要》强调“造就一批教育家，倡导教育家办学”。温家宝总理也在不同的场合多次提到教育家办学的思想，教育家办学已上升到国家战略。时代呼唤着教育家，教育需要教育家办学。要从教育大国转向教育强国、从人力资源大国转向人力资源强国，我国需要培养大批的教育家。通过对大学教育家校长的含义说明，并对当前大学校长在管理大学的过程中所存在的问题进行分析，提出培养教育家校长的一些条件，得出为培养创新人才和教育可持续发展，大学需要教育家校长的结论。

总结：1、随着1999年高校的扩招至今，我国高等教育工作取得了非常显著的成绩，高等教育逐步由精英化阶段向大众化阶段发展。但是，我国高等教育发展还存在诸多困难和问题。这些问题的存在与大学校长这个角色有密切的关系。

2、大学校长是学校管理的组织者、实施者、主要承担者，是学校改革发展的引导者，是大学发展的灵魂。要实现教育家办学，就要培养教育家校长，同时，高等教育的发展有自己的规律，人才的培养需要周期较长。但是，政府对大学校长任职期限设定并不合理。

3、建构我国大学教育家校长的策略途径有以下几个方面：（1）转变政府职能，明确政府管理的权限和职责，科学界定政府与大学的关系；（2）改革遴选标准，突出个人特长，以民主推选、公开选拔的方式聘用大学校长；（3）建立现代大学制度；（4）建立符合教育规律的任期制；（5）制订大学校长薪酬激励制度。

The Thinking About University Educator Headmaster

Abstrac:It is emphasized that we should bring up a large number of educators, and advocated that schools need be runned by educators in the Outline of National Long-term Eduction Reformand Development Plan promulgated and imple-mented in 2010. Primeminister Wen Jia bao has also talked about the idea of educators running schools for several times in diferent occasions, which has risen to the national strategy. Times calls for the educators, and education needs educators in running schools. In order to change from a large country to a strong country about education and human resources, we need cultivate a large number of educators. In this paper, the writer explains the meaning of the university educator headmaster firstly, then analyzes the cmrrent problems existing in the process of the management to universities about university headmasters, and puts forward some factors of cultivating educator headmasters. Finaly, it is concluded that universities need educator headmasters to cultivate creative talents and realize the sustainable development of education.
