高等教育国际化与世界一流大学建设:清华大学的案例

摘  要：国际化是清华大学建设“世界一流大学”的题中必有之意。清华大学在学生国际流动、教师国际化水准、教学与课程的国际化、国际合作研究以及合作办学等方面全面展现了清华大学“开放式”办学的理念,但也存在一定的问题。国际化对于发展中国家而言是因应经济全球化和国际人才竞争的一种重要手段,也是发展中国家建设世界一流大学的基本路径,但如何在国际化中体现本土化是需要继续努力的方向。

总  结：　高等教育国际化是全球化背景下高等教育发展的一种基本趋势,也是发展中国家建设高水平大学的必然路径。所谓高等教育国际化,我们认为主要是指一个国家及其高等教育机构为因应全球化背景而在战略上设定国际前沿目标并付诸行动的过程;在实施层面表现为具体的国际合作与交流活动及其效果。高等教育国际化的本质是按照国际高等教育界通行的理念、准则和规范指导办学,加强国际间的交流和合作,从而提高一国或者一所高等教育机构办学水准,培养具有国际视野和国际理解能力的人才的过程。

Internationalization and the construction of world class universities :

A case study of Tsinghua University

Abstract：Internationalization is one of t he inevitable element s to construct a world class university. It has been embedded in t he development of Tsinghua University in student international flowing , faculty international standard , internationalization of teaching and curriculum , international cooperation in research and collaboration in education , but t here are also certain problems. Internationalization is one of the essential strategies for developing countries to cater to the trend of economic globalization and international competition, therefore a fundamental pat h for those developing countries to construct world class universities. However, it still requires further consideration and effort s to pursuit t he localization of t he universities in t he process of internationalization.
