摘要：为什么不同国家地区的教学文化呈现出不同的特征和不同的形式，笔者认为除了一些浅层次的因素外，最根本的是文化传统的差异。本文将从文化传统与教学文化的关系、中美文化各自的特征以及中美文化传统影响下的教学文化的不同表现形式等方面去揭示中美教学文化的根本性差异，以便对中美教学文化有一个本质性的了解。

总结：一、文化传统与教学文化的关系

受不同的文化传统的影响，必然形成不同的思维方式与行为方式，在教学中表现出不同的教学文化。

二、和谐统一和实用主义至上

中国文化传统的和谐，表现在教学过程中，即是特别注重学生与教学环境的协调统一与学生对环境的被动适应,而忽视对学习环境的设计和改善。过分强调和谐安定，把变革视为畏途，这一点也解释了中国教师为何疏于对教学内容(教材) 的改革和变换。与此相反，美国从初创者开始由于地理条件和生存环境所迫，因而形成了一种实用主义思想。所以美国民族十分注重空间的拓展和对外征服，是一种典型的外向型文化。

三、实际稳定和自由主义至上

在我国这种传统大陆型的农耕、追求稳定、安土乐土、不喜变动的文化影响之下，我国的教学文化呈现出注重集体活动，群体的班级教学；美国思想和文化形成过程中,受到了欧洲自由主义思想的深刻的影响。

四、伦理道德和个人主义至上

中国老师对学生成绩的好坏负有重要责任,学生对老师的依赖性也较强。与此相反，美国从历史的初创时期由于受到清教主义的影响，个人权利被认为是天赋人权不容被践踏，强调个人本位，注重个人的自由和权力。因此，美国人在决定自己的行为时，则更多考虑自己的标准、实现自我为首要目的。

Comparative Analysis between China and the United States Teaching Culture

Abstract : Why teaching in different countries and cultural areas show different characteristics and different forms , I believe that in addition to a number of Shallow factors , the most fundamental factor is the cultural tradition. Cultural traditions of a country determines the direction of a nation as well , so this article from the cultural traditions and cultural relations , Sino - US cultural characteristics of their culture and traditions under the influence of China and the United States teaching the different forms of culture to reveal the areas of China and the United States fundamental cultural differences between China and the United States teaching culture in order to have a more in - depth , the nature of understanding.
