摘要：本文从知识经济与高等教育的关系出发，运用成本理论分析了大学管理中经常遇到的基本问题，探讨了大学管理观念、体制和方法等方面的新特征。

总结：大学一方面需要在政治、经济的双重挤压下求得生存和发展，另一方面需要在求真、务实的信念驱使下展现精神风范和崇高理想。具体到大学管理上，主要有以下几个方面：

1.在管理观念上, 应当把大学视为学术性组织。

2.在大学管理体制和制度上，要突出学术逻辑，实行规治化，德治化，效率化管理。

3.运用现代化的管理手段，提升大学的管理水平。

On the Basic Request of Knowledge Economy to the University Management

Abstract: This article, arguing from the relation between knowledge economy and higher education, analyzes the basic problems that appear in the process of university management, and studies the new characteristics of the idea, the system and the method of university management.
