School leaders, be in control of your own story
Kesler, Will
Abstract:The article presents the author's views on the misconceptions about the operations of Georgia-based Deerfield Windsor School as well as narrative fallacy, the disconnection between experience and memory, and how they relate to the school. He argues against the belief that Deerfield uses financial aid funds to recruit unqualified athletes and examines why false stories start and persist. He comments that people are influenced by narrative perceptions which are controlled by unpredictable events.
