摘要：美国教师教育的发展伴随着问题的争论，这些争论涉及到两大根本问题：在培养目标上，话题已经由多元文化教师转到反思性教师的培养上；在课程设置上，“学科教学知识”的理念开始逐步取代学科中心主义的基本主张。在美国教师教育研究的争论中，课程设置之争也是学科地位之争和学科利益之争；这种争论建立在理性对话的基础上；有了理性对话，教师教育的培养目标就能在理想与现实间寻求妥善的安置。

总结：1. 总体来说，所有的话题都涉及到两大根本问题：

（1）教师教育的培养目标问题：在美国，教师教育培养目标随着对文化和政治多元性认识的深入发生转移；

（2） 课程设置的问题)观点对立的双方围绕到底是学科课程，还是专业课程该占首要地位而争论不休。

2. 理想与现实的冲突让我们意识到：在经济一体化和文化多元化的世界面前，我们该造就怎样的教师，如何造就这样的教师等，也将是中国教师教育研究者们不得不面对的话题。

3. 在我国，虽然早就有学者指出了教师教育“师范性”与“学术性”的争论是一个实际存在但在理论上为“假”的问题，并列举出各个时期这种争论的不同主体，但大家却一直对隐藏在争论背后的主体利益欲说还休。我们不得不说，正视专业地位和专业利益的问题，是我们解决争论并为教师专业化创造条件的必要态度。

4. 目前，我国教师教育体制正在转型期间，如果能利用这次转型，为学者的理性协商搭建制度平台，将是推动教师教育改革顺利进行的有力保障。

The Dispute and Its Implications in the Development of Teacher Education in the US

Abstract: The development of teacher education in the U S is accompanied by debating on related issues. These disputes involve two fundamental issues. In the aspect of training objectives, the topic has shifted from "multi-cultural teachers" into "the training of reflective teachers". In the aspect of curriculum，the concept of teaching know ledge began to replace the basic ideas of subject—centered theory. The dispute on curriculum is in fact the dispute on the status and interest of the subject This debate is based on the rational dialogue, in which the training objectives of teacher education will be able to find a proper resettlement between the idea land the reality.
