摘要：对当代西方教育领导理论的发展进行梳理和回顾，对其发展历史及其研究框架进行了分析。教育领导理论始终是伴随着管理科学的发展，不断借鉴和吸取企业领导理论的养料来丰富完善自身的发展。教育领导理论发展迅速，理论种类繁多，但研究中依然存在着某些“盲点”。从目前的研究结果看，教育领导理论对学习效果与改进学校管理的贡献很少得到验证。我国在此领域的研究仍显稚嫩，尚有很多空白，特别是高等教育领域。

二、对教育领导理论的述评

（一）教育领导理论始终是伴随着管理科学的发展，不断借鉴和吸取企业领导理论的养料来丰富完善自身的发展。

（二）教育领导理论探讨已走出单一偏重科学主义倾向的研究时期，逐渐走向科学方法和哲学反思的综合。

（三）教育领导理论发展迅速，理论种类繁多，但研究的焦点有集群化的趋势。

（四）理论界对教育领导理论研究存在许多批评。

（五）当前教育领导理论研究主要活跃在美国和欧洲，并且主要局限于中小学教育领导的研究。

Development and comments on modern Western theory of educational leadership

Abstract: The essay analyzes the history, structure and development of the modern Western theory of educational leadership and finds out that the development of the educational leadership goes along with the development of scientific administration and the development of the theory of enterprise leadership. The theory of educational leadership is developing quickly and there are many related branches. However, there are many blank points of the study on the theory of educational leadership. The influence of the educational leadership on study efficiency and university management is not proved. In China, the study on the theory of educational leadership in the field of high education is not developed.
