近年，大多数新聘教师是在完成特定学科的本科教育之后又研习了一年的教师教育课程从而完成职前培训的，小部分是完成兼有专业学科和师范教育两部分课程的四年制本科师范毕业生。

三、英国教师专业发展的变革趋势

教师专业化的模式主要有两种：能力模式和反思性实践模式。英国学者认为，当前英国的教师专业化更多地受制于政府的要求，大学和中小学教师教育者的影响有限。

Abstract: Around the reform of British teacher education, this article analyzes the connotation and conception of teacher professional development, summarizes the status quo and new trends of teacher professional development in Britain. When two modes of self- governance and state- control are disputing, it is necessary to develop a more democratic mode of teacher professional development.
